Bret Bar Soi 6 Pattaya

The Bret Bar was one of the most popular bars on Soi Six Pattaya. It has now closed and reopened, under new ownership, as Z Bar.

There are probably various reasons for this:-

1. Nice selection of hostesses. Just like most of the bars in Soi 6 this varies but in the main they are pretty, pleasant and goofhostesses. I have never been asked for a "lady drink" but have bought many.
   
   
2. It is one of the (very) few bars that has a genuine inside and outside section. Most of the bars in Soi 6 have seats outside where its possible to have a drink but these are simply seats on the pavement and where you often get the feeling you are part of the "show". Brett Bar on the other hand has a genuine outside area, set back from the road with both seats and tables. You can sit here comfortably without feeling like a monkey in a zoo. In addition there is a largeish indoor, air conditioned, area inside.
   
   
3. It is one of very few bars in Soi 6 to have a pool table. This is located in the outside area.

All in all the outside/indoor/pool table generates a meeting place atmosphere where you can sit and while away a few hours with friends as opposed to the in and out, wham bam thank you ma'am feel to most bars in Soi 6.

Soi 6 Monster

The indoor section has now been knocked through so its all in one "open" bar now. Personally I preferred having the indoor aircon section but it seems busier now so was probably a good decision.

I guess the advantage is that passers by can see all the action which is something few bars in the six have.

Great place to look out on to the street and the activities. No hassle bar with friendly staff.

Good bar

Soi 6

Possibly the best bar in Soi 6 to sit and chill. Good sized outdoor area with a pool table. Decent indoor aircon bar too.
